Prof.H.Venkateshwarlu received his Masters, M.Phil and Ph.D from Osmania University. His Ph.D was on ‘Marketing Management in Public Enterprises’. He joined as Assistant Professor in Osmania University and rose to the rank of Professor at a very young age and now senior most Professor of Osmania University. He completed total 35 years of University service and as a professor 25 years, and is one of the senior most professors in the country. He is the recipient of several National Fellowships and received the Best State Teacher Award 2010 by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He hails from Siddipet, Medak District of Telangana State.
Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu is a well known Academic, Researcher, Academic Administrator and Consultant. His assignments included training Managing Directors, Civil Servants and Academicians all over the country. An expert in Marketing, he published 8 books and 25 Research Articles. His research papers were presented at International Conferences, in USA and in France. He has guided 25 Ph.Ds. and 6 M.Phils. He has carried out research projects for Planning Commission, ICSSR, SBI and UGC. Prof.H.Venkateshwarlu has been the UGC, DRS, SAP Coordinator and conducted many National and International Seminars. He has been on the Board of Studies of many Universities and he has delivered Lectures all over the country. He has served as Chairman, BOS, Head, Department of Commerce and Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Osmania University. He has headed many committees of the University. He visited Stanford and Princeton Universities.
He worked as subject matter expert for UPSC, AICTE and UGC, New Delhi. He held the position of Executive Vice President of the All India Commerce Association for nine years. He is the architect of Prerana, a Commerce Student Awareness Meet, to inspire and guide Commerce Students all over the country. All India Commerce Talent Search Test (of the ICA) at the national level is one of his initiatives.
Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu worked as Dean, College Development Council and as the Director, PGRR Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University, from 2013-2016. He served as Special Officer of OU Centenary Celebrations, a very prestigious event of Osmania University. He is now the President of very prestigious Indian Commerce Association.
